Send Data Plate Pictures to RecallChek

HomeHubZone will send photos of the manufacturer data plate for RecallChek processing.

  • The picture associated to any observation containing the phrase "data plate" on the items where a recall check is configured will automatically be sent .
  • You MUST fill in the manufacturer name for the picture to be sent.
  • If you attach two pictures, the first picture added will be sent
  • You can still send just data if you desire
  • If the data plate has an easily readable model and serial number, the model and serial number will almost immediately auto-fill in HomeHubZone
  • if the data plate does not have an easy readable model and serial number, the model and serial number will eventually fill - as soon as the data has been verified and released per the RecallChek dashboard.  This is typically within 2 days.

 

On the mobile device:

  1. Choose add a photo concern
  2. Take the photo
  3. Select an observation to the appliance or equipment with a description containing the phrase "data plate".  Each of these items should have an out-of-the-box observation with this phrase
  4. Save the observation
  5. Choose the item descriptions
  6. Set the manufacturer name
  7. Complete the inspection
  8. Post the inspection - the photos will be sent to RecallChek for processing
  9. If the data plate was machine-readable, the model and serial number will almost immediately auto-fill in HomeHubZone
  10. if the data plate was not machine-readable, the model and serial number will eventually fill - as soon as the data has been verified and released per the RecallChek dashboard.

On the web:

  1. Upload a photo to the item
  2. Assign an observation to the appliance or equipment with a description containing the phrase "data plate".  Each of these items should have an out-of-the-box observation with this phrase
  3. Choose the item descriptions
  4. Set the manufacturer name
  5. Complete the inspection
  6. Post the inspection - the photos will be sent to RecallChek for processing
  7. If the data plate was machine-readable, the model and serial number will almost immediately auto-fill in HomeHubZone
  8. if the data plate was not machine-readable, the model and serial number will eventually fill - as soon as the data has been verified and released per the RecallChek dashboard.
