Handle the inspection of Commercial Properties: Multi-Unit

You can actually do this in one of two ways:

  • Add extra kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and set the location of the room to be the unit number

OR

  • Add extra kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and edit the room name to be Unit N <room name> (preferred)

Either way, you inspect exterior, attic, and roof only once

Steps:
  1. Create the inspection by selecting New Inspection Screen_Shot_2017-10-25_at_7.02.26_PM.png
  2. When the form is New Inspection form is presented, choose the following:
    1. The total number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the entire place
    2. For the other rooms, check the rooms that are in the first unit (such as Kitchen, Living room, etc,...)
  3. Save the inspection by selecting "Create New Inspection"
  4. Add any additional rooms for each unit by selecting "Add Room". Make sure to choose "Kitchen" if you are creating a kitchen. See Add a Room
  5. Rename each room using the form <Unit No> <Room Name>
